Job Overview
As an AV Technician at Hilton, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining audio-visual and lighting equipment to ensure flawless event execution. You will work closely with the Conference and Banqueting teams, troubleshoot technical issues in real time, and help create memorable guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate audio, video, and lighting systems for meetings and events

Troubleshoot technical issues and provide immediate solutions during live events

Meet and exceed guest and customer expectations consistently

Collaborate closely with the Conference & Banqueting team

Ensure compliance with hotel security, fire regulations, and health & safety standards

Maintain knowledge of front-of-house AV equipment and property management systems

Attend training programs to stay updated with AV technologies

Ensure adherence to Hilton brand standards

Assist other departments when required and maintain strong working relationships

Support Hilton’s commitment to environmental awareness and sustainability
Required Skills & Qualifications

Knowledge of computer-based programs and IT equipment installation

Strong understanding of audio-visual systems

Flexibility to adapt to different work situations and event schedules
Preferred Experience (Advantageous)

Previous experience as an AV Technician in hotel, leisure, or retail environments

Knowledge of video conferencing systems

Experience with trussing and rigging

Familiarity with live event production and setup
