Safety and Security Manager – Hilton Hotels

Hilton is seeking a dedicated Safety and Security Manager to oversee all aspects of safety, security, and risk management across assigned hotels. This role ensures a safe, secure, and enjoyable experience for our guests and team members, while maintaining compliance with legal and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Safety and Security Manager at Hilton, you will:

  • Manage internal and external guest accident/incident records and apply legal best practices where necessary.

  • Lead investigations of criminal activities and other incidents at hotel properties.

  • Oversee health, safety, fire safety, food safety, security, and risk management processes.

  • Liaise with local enforcement officials during statutory inspections and accident investigations.

  • Analyze accident data to allocate resources to high-risk areas effectively.

  • Support operations, specialist training, supplier approvals, and crisis management.

  • Conduct audits to ensure Health & Safety and Food Hygiene compliance.

  • Train managers, supervisors, and colleagues on safety procedures and best practices.

  • Implement and enforce safety risk management practices aligned with Hilton policies.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in Security or related fields within the hospitality industry.

  • Strong supervisory, communication, and people management skills.

  • Expertise in Safety and Security Management and Fire Safety Risk Assessment.

  • Ability to conduct independent investigations and make sound decisions.

  • Flexibility to handle diverse work situations with patience and diplomacy.

  • Competence in computer programs for reporting, presentations, and communication.

  • High school diploma or equivalent (University degree in Security and Safety preferred).

  • Thorough knowledge of hotel layouts, local areas, and emergency procedures.

Preferred Skills and Distinctions:

  • Previous Hilton Security and Safety experience.

  • Familiarity with Hilton safety regulations and standards.

  • Ability to train and develop team members in safety and security practices.
