Job Summary
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the movement of goods from suppliers to customers. You will work closely with internal departments, customers, and vendors to ensure shipments are delivered on time, within budget, and according to customer requirements. This role plays a key part in maintaining smooth supply chain operations and high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage shipments from suppliers to customers

Communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams regarding shipment status

Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading and customs paperwork

Track shipments and manage inventory levels

Resolve shipping issues such as delays, damages, or lost cargo

Maintain accurate records of all logistics and transportation activities

Monitor transportation costs and support cost-reduction initiatives

Stay updated with logistics industry trends and regulatory requirements
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred but not required)

Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations

Experience with a transportation or logistics company is an advantage

Knowledge of transportation regulations and customs requirements

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organizational and time management abilities

High attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) is a plus

Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus
