This on-site position requires availability for mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays, based on seniority scheduling.

Job Responsibilities

As a Crew Scheduler, you play a critical role in ensuring every Republic Airways flight departs on time with a legal and qualified crew. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assigning crews to flights while complying with FAA rules, union contracts & company policies

  • Monitoring operations and resolving disruptions quickly

  • Managing open flying due to delays, crew changes, sick calls, or irregular operations

  • Communicating schedule changes to pilots and flight attendants

  • Providing 24/7 support to crewmembers for schedule issues, trades, inquiries & modifications

  • Booking hotels, ground transport, and deadhead travel

  • Working collaboratively with dispatch, operations, and support teams

  • Training new Crew Schedulers (as required)

  • Maintaining strong knowledge of regulations and collective agreements

  • Ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operational performance


Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Strong customer service background

  • Stable work history & dependable attendance

  • Ability to work in stressful, high-volume environments

  • Excellent critical thinking & multitasking skills

  • Clear verbal and written communication

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office & airline software systems

  • Ability to sit/stand for 10-hour shifts

  • Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Aviation

  • Previous airline industry experience

  • Passion for growing within airline operations


Travel Requirements

  • Occasional travel up to 10%

  • Includes nights, weekends, and overnight stays
